Following a report by MiD DAY, the police seem to have taken notice; Cisco assures cooperation in investigations.

The investigation officer told MiD DAY, "We are collecting all related documents and are waiting for a medical report." Parijat had died after falling from his seventh floor apartment in Brigade Harmony at Whitefield on January 6.

A police source said that they would get the post mortem reports from Vaidehi Hospital within two days. Police have contacted Vishal Shekhar, Parijat's friend again, and have asked him to be present whenever required.

Meanwhile, the police have allowed Roopa to accompany her husband's body to Kolkata for the last rites. Police sources said, they have written to the Bengal police to keep an eye on the goings on, and they have assured them of assistance.

PI Gopalakrishna B N, Whitefield, said, "We have taken a different approach to the case, which we will disclose only after the investigation." A police source said, "These codes will only be disclosed in the presence of an officer, if the concerned person is not available. If possible, we will look at Vishal's phone too.

Cisco, Parijat's employers, are also helping solve the case by unlocking Parijat's mobile phone. The company encodes phones of each and every employee. A company spokesperson confirmed, " We will help police crack the case in every way possible."
