While police claim they couldn't reach to a conclusion because the complainant didn't turn up for the hearing, organisers allege cops never asked them to be present

Missed deadline
However MiD DAY has discovered that the cops have failed to meet the deadline. “We have completed the investigation from our side. But the committee head, ACP Prakash Gharge, informed me that the report couldn’t be submitted as the complainants did not turn up for questioning and hence he was unable to come to any conclusion.” u00a0Also, Gharge told MID DAY that the investigation will be done thoroughly, and that the report will be submitted once it is complete.u00a0
