"According to an FIR registered by one Shobha Ram Sharma, the owner of Shobha Ram Sharma construction firm, in June 2012, Janardan Sharma, who at present is representative of BJP MP Hema Malini, was a 30 per cent partner in a project of National Highway," Investigating Officer R K Singh said.
"Since I was busy in other projects of National Highway Authority, he was looking after the project," Shobha Ram said in the FIR, adding that Janardan later not only declared himself as Assistant Manager of the firm but demanded salary too. However in the meantime, he not only forged some documents of the firm but tried to deposit two cheques in his personal account in a Holigate area based bank, Shobha Ram said in the FIR.
"His efforts to get two cheques deposited in his personal account were foiled as I was informed by the bank about the same by SMS," Shobha Ram Sharma claimed in the FIR. The case was registered under various sections of IPC.
"Not only forgery in the documents was established through tests in forensic lab but in spite of registration of cases in fraud, forgery, attempt to murder and theft, Janardan, when, did not appear in the court, the court first ordered him to appear in the court followed by bailable and non bailable warrant, it then ordered Kurki of his property and declared him absconder," Investigating Officer Singh stated.
