Inmates of Parappana Agrahara jail were disheartened as they were unable to see two film stars shaking hands 'behind bars', allegedly because Darshan refusing to meet Shivaraj Kumar who was at the jail for a shoot.
Shivaraj was filming for his new flick 'Shiva' yesterday and wanted to meet Darshan, who is currently depressed over being lodged as an under trail prisoner while facing charges of domestic violence.

"When he doesn't want to meet anybody, we must not insist. I want to respect his sentiments and will not disturb him," said Shivaraj.
Shooting is expected to continue tomorrow, but it is unlikely the stars will be meeting.
Shivaraj had acted as peacemaker between Darshan and his wife when the couple's relationship was strained even before it became a police case earlier this month.
When Darshan was allegedly abusing her, Vijayalakshmi approached Shivaraj and his wife Geetha, who pacified the couple.
Darshan, who felt insulted at the intervention, is believed to have questioned Shivaraj's integrity and even made his wife call and berate him.
"Everyone in the film industry, including Shivaraj Kumar, has multiple affairs.
What rights does he have to advise me?" Darshan is believed to have asked Vijayalakshmi, which she has mentioned in her complaint lodged with the Vijayanagar police.
However, she turned hostile in the court, when the case was registered and Darshan was arrested.
The court refused to hear her story, as the charges leveled against her husband were serious and his bail petition was quashed and the case is pending.

Darshan spent the entire day in his prison cell reading and conversed with cellmates Katta Jagadish Naidu and Srinivasamurthy, who are in judicial custody relating to a land scam.

He even turned down an offer to participate in a mythological drama the jail inmates are rehearsing. While the inmates requested him to act in the drama, Darshan reportedly asked them to let him live in peace.
Vijayalakshmi visited Victoria Hospital yesterday to give a blood sample for Forensic Science Lab testing.
The police probing the case have found bloodstains on the clothes of both Darshan and she and wanted a FSL report on it. While at the hospital, she however refused to comment.
