The court sent the case for mediation, after both the parties said that they are ready to compromise.
The court Monday granted one day police custody of Singh to Delhi Police.
Filing the FIR at Hauz Khas police station, Singh's wife Nimisha alleged that she was harassed by her husband and in-laws for dowry.
She said that they got married in June 2012, and it was love marriage. At the time of marriage there was no demand of dowry but they later started make demands on her, she said.
Singh, who works with a MNC in Gurgaon, however, alleged that Nimisha wanted to become a film actress to which he did not agree and thus she filed a false case against him.
