He arrived on the Indian fashion turf out of thin air, only to be noticed by the audacious volume of the jackets he sported. Designer Hemant Sagar (partner to French Didier Lecoanet) is an easy-on-the-eye kind of fellow, whose engaging wit found him quick entry in to an industry that thrives on "being different".
They bridge the schism between austere living and glam fashion through construction and texture, leaving you with an impression of water flowing freely over cracked earth. Camouflage embroidery and cutouts mirroring bamboo and frangipani leaves beg to allow peace entry in this urban jungle.
The occasional use of metal mesh to create an illusion of minerals, is embodied in the garments and prints inspired by foliage x-rays. They bring in an edgy aspect to the new organic movement.

With the Suryanamaskar being hailed as the one-stop asana to trim the body of fat and mind of chaos, the world over, Lecoanet Hemant didn't really need an incentive to introduce Ayurganic, a wellness and fashion collection for both, men and women.
