New Delhi: After AAP MLA and former Delhi Law Minister got protection from arrest for two days in a case of domestic violence and attempt to murder, estranged wife Lipika Mitra asked him to "come out of hiding" even as she ruled out any reconciliation with her husband.

"I think it is good for Somnath Bharti. Now he should come out from his hiding. There is no reason for him to go into hiding for another two days," Mitra told reporters here.
The Delhi High Court today granted two days of interim relief to the former law minister, saying there is still a chance of reconciliation between the couple.
"What I feel is that if this time I reconcile with him, you will see my dead body coming out of his (Somnath Bharti) home. Whatever I am doing, I am doing it for the welfare of my children, I am not going to reconcile," Mitra responded when asked about the possibility of reconciliation with her husband.
The court had earlier issued a non-bailable warrant against Bharti, who has been booked for domestic violence filed by Mitra, and was allegedly on the run from the law.
Mitra had filed a complaint with the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) in June, accusing Bharti of committing acts of domestic violence and mental torture since 2010.
Bharti was earlier named in an FIR filed under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including domestic violence and attempt to murder.
Mitra has been married to Bharti since 2010, but has been living separately from him since 2012 along with the couple's two children in a rented accommodation in Dwarka.
