Art lovers in the city can now witness a new concept in painting. Gangadas Machcha, a senior artist from the city, will present his work on cosmic energy. With almost 35 years of experience behind him, Machcha believes that his exhibition will benefit the audience in a unique way.

Tell us more about your exhibition.
The exhibition is related to the concept of cosmic energy in an abstract form. It is a scientific rule that when two lines meet, they form energy. I made two forceful lines cross each other, whereby energy would be automatically created in the mind of the viewer. These "energetic" paintings will help the audience feel positive.
How did you decide to work on this subject?
Every human being is moulded and formed from the five elements water, air, land, earth and fire. The combination of these elements give us energy. I started working on the concept five years back and it worked. As an artist, it was my duty to share this with all art lovers.
I had earlier exhibited my work in Mumbai, for which I got great a great response. Hence, I decided to exhibit my work in Pune. I am not merely trying to earn money but also to create awareness on the subject, as it will help everyone.
