Students from the department of Ancient Indian Culture at St Xaviers College want you to spare some time to celebrate the country's rich heritage through Vividha, the annual festival of Indian art and culture.
The theme that they have picked for this year is the state of Gujarat. Through models, charts, arts and crafts and food, the students will explore the traditional motifs of the state.
By focusing on art architecture, archaeology, socio-economic conditions and crafts -- topics from their textbooks come alive. The exhibition also includes an interactive session with Anita Chandramohan and Jayshree Krishnan from Maati Crafts and a stall for Parsi food set up by Kurush Dalal.
