Meet the Mr Universe duo, and no, don't think pretty pageants. Prateek Jain and Gautam Seth, known in design circles for their cutting-edge glass works, have just launched their Voyages line, based on the vast, wild universe. Need a backgrounder?

These kids own the Klove Studio at Haus Khas Village, and have contributed to Rohit Bal's restaurant Cibo. They designed the sets for Karan Johar's fashion debut at the grand finale of the HDIL Couture Week held in Mumbai last year, and worked on installations for designer Ritu Kumar.

The adventurous du00e9cor collection draws inspiration from sea and space voyages, and captures all the excitement and discovery that is associated with atomic structures.

The telescope lamp, meteorite chandelier and anchor lights draw on thematic appeal while bringing into sharp focus the complex drama of mixed media and mixed forms. More than lights, they are in the realm of installation art.

Take, for instance, the meteorite light, where the cylindrical light moves down to form a drop. The tension and drama is created by the sharp form of the cylinder that is contrasted with a drop reminiscent of shooting stars. Go grab the galaxy.
