A man beat up his son brutally after having an argument over parking of the latter's Tata Safari car. The victim reportedly has a fracture in his leg and received critical injuries. The incident was reported from Ghazipur area of east Delhi.u00a0
The accused, identified as Braham Dutt, has been arrested along with his two other sons, Brijesh and Shailender Tiwari.u00a0"The victim, Sunil (35), wanted to park his Tata Safari in front of the house, while his father asked him not to. Sunil was adamant and picked up an argument with his father. Following this, Braham thrashed him with a stick. His two sons, Brijesh and Shailender also joined him and beat up Sunil," a police official informed.
The police official said that the incident took place at G-Block in the area. Sunil is a driver by profession and lives with his parents and two brothers.u00a0
According to Sunil, he used to park his vehicle right outside the house, daily. On November 29, he returned home from work and was parking his vehicle when his father reprimanded him.u00a0
Spot of bother
"This is my parking spot and you can't stop me," he said to his father, over which the latter got angry and threatened him of dire consequences. Sunil insisted and parked his vehicle in the same place. Braham Dutt, the accused, then went inside the house and returned with a stick. Before Sunil could understand anything, he began to thrash him," the police official added.
Sunil shouted for help after his father started beating him. Instead of helping him, his brothers, Brijesh and Shailender, joined the father. "He thought that his brothers will help him, but they also thrashed him," said the police.u00a0
In the meantime, someone informed the police and Sunil was taken to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital. "He has injuries in the legs, arms and head and is undergoing treatment at the hospital," police said.u00a0The official said that they have got an FIR registered under Section 341 (wrongful restraint) and Section 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt).u00a0
