After the film Slumdog Millionaire won four Golden Globes, our curiosity quotient has gone up.

Film enthusiasts are not waiting for the January-23 release of Slumdog Millionaire in India. The entire movie is being downloaded and shared on the worldwide web by fans who do not want to wait for another week. The movie was released in the US in November last year and in UK on January 9 and hence is available on the net.

u00a0"I have downloaded the film and watched it. I have copied it into a CD and shared it with my friends too," said Naveen Shetty, a student.

In offices too the film is being circulated and shared. "It is just 698 MB and does not take very long to download. Even if it is released here, I prefer the English version. I am not waiting for the Hindi Crorepati version," said Abhishek V, a techie.

However, there are also those like Sneha Kumar who will wait to watch the movie in a cinema hall. "I want to watch the movie in a hall because I want it to be like a tribute to Rahman's achievement in bringing international acclaim to India. It does not mean I am an anti-piracy activist. I do buy pirated CDs and even know the brand names of pirated CDs and have preferential piracy brands too. But this movie is going to be special," she said.
