Contrary to reports, the house where the entire show was shot, has not been gutted. According to a crew member, “The fire broke out at 4:00 am on Friday outside the house where the makers used to shoot the elimination episodes with Salman Khan. The cause of the fire was a short circuit. Fortunately, no one was injured.”

The security guards noticed the fire and called the fire brigade. “The situation was brought under control though we lost some of the equipments. There was no major financial loss,” adds a source.
It is said that the production house is going to shoot the south version of the show soon at the same location, with noted actor Sudeep.
