Yewalewadi is a rapidly developing area, whose population has doubled according to the 2011 census. According to 2001 census the total population of Yewalewadi was 4,500 which has gone up to ten thousand according to the 2011 census.
“The PMC has already provided water supply to the village as it is mandatory for any Municipal Corporation to supply water to villages which are located in the 5 kilometre limit of the corporation,” said Waghmare.
