The star's next film Maleyali Jotheyali will feature all the gifts he's received from fans over the last six years

Goldenu00a0star Ganesh has a surprise up his sleeves: He's planning to acknowledge his fans by featuring their gifts and mail in his next movie, Maleyali Jotheyali.

Ganesh, who got famous through Comedy Time, will play the lead in the movie producedu00a0 by his home banner, Golden Movies, and directed by Preetam Gubbi.

"He has a room full of gifts given to him by his fans," said a source close to the star.

"Ganesh has decided to surprise his fans by featuring all of them in his first production."

Payback time

The gifts include unique handmade greeting cards, letters and special handmade dolls sent while he anchored Comedy Show.

There are also gifts showered on him after Yograj Bhat's Mungaru Male took Ganesh to new heights in 2007.

This includes a 1.5-kilometre long paper roll in which a fan has written Ganesh's name several thousands of times.

Ganesh has been preserving them for more than six years.

"He has been carefully preserving each and every gift," added the source. "Some of them are very rare and are being preserved with great care. I hope his fans will enjoy it as it's a unique experiment by a hero," our source added.

Shhhh...

Ganesh didn't want to give away any secrets.

"The movie has lots of surprises. This is all I can tell now. One has to wait till the release to know further," he told MiD DAY.
