Gays finally get rights

Gays finally get rights

Homosexuals in India are bound to be pleased because the Delhi HC has struck down Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

In fact, details of this ruling are even being mentioned on a Russian site.

Nobody knows how many homosexuals are present in India, but Wikipedia says that studies in the West indicate that 2 to 13 per cent of the population could be homosexual.

If you want more information on homosexuality in the West, this site says that major and apparently irreconcilable conflicts exists in North America over equal rights and protections for GLBT persons (gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transsexuals), including the right to marry.

While you are at it, check out some homosexuality myths. There is also this interesting article on what causes homosexual desire.

And if you are interested in books on the subject, may we recommend Passions of the Cut Sleeve by Bret Hinsch.

Incidentally, while speaking about the issue, don't ever say "homosexuals and lesbians". This is like saying "people and women."
