Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi appealed to TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu to give up his fast, which entered the sixth day today.
"Since your services are too valuable for the country in general and for Andhra Pradesh in particular, I appeal to you to give up your fast immediately and work for the welfare of the people," Karunanidhi said in a message to Naidu.
Naidu has been on fast for the past six days demanding a relief package for farmers affected by the recent rains.
