Today is Day 2 of a five-day mini-film festival of classic international comedies that NCPA is hosting in collaboration with Lumiere Movies. A first of sorts for the performance art hub, the festival will also give audiences the opportunity to access ancillary promotions, guest speakers, trivia sessions and DVD giveaways.
Tomorrow, watch 2006 Italian film The Caiman starring Silvio Orlando, Margherita Buy and director Nanni Moretti himself. Bruno Bonomo is a B-grade movie producer struggling to raise the funds for his film The Return of Christopher Columbus.
Tuesday's film, Rolf De Heer's Dr Plonk is set in 1907. The doctor accidentally discovers that the world will end in 101 years, and builds a time machine to transport him to the future. However, the future is like nothing he had ever imagined.u00a0
