Riding down the wrong side proved painful for 27-year-old Jaideep Vijay Mule after his antics led to a collision with a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus.
Mule was riding on the wrong side of the road against oncoming traffic on Karve road yesterday morning when he was hit by the bus and sustained serious injuries. According to the police, Mule was rushed to the private hospital where he is undergoing treatment.u00a0

“At 9 am on Thursday, Mule, a resident of Sinhgad road, was on his way to Prabhat road and was on the wrong side. His bike was hit by a MSRTC bus which was going towards Nal stop,” said Police Inspector Manohar Joshi.
According to eyewitnesses, the bus driver swerved the vehicle into a road divider in a bid to avoid hitting the biker. However, Mule and his bike collided with the rear of the bus and the while the two-wheeler came under the rear wheel, the rider was thrown clear.
“He received multiple injuries due to the fall and was rushed to the nearby hospital where he has been undergoing treatment,” said Joshi.
The police said that they would take appropriate action after ascertaining who was at fault. u00a0
