Three-day weekend festival at SCIT focused on original ideas, problem-solving ability of students

Day 1: The first day had three stimulating events; Auto stock, Sudoku Relay and Rann-Neeti. Auto stock involved designing an algorithmic trading strategy for constant changes in the market. Sudoku Relay was based on problem-solving skills and required great alertness. At least 35 such teams with students from colleges throughout the country took up this challenge.

Rann-Neeti saw students presenting their own business ideas and help them to mould their entrepreneurial skills. Students were tested on parameters such as originality and back up plans.

Day 2: At least 25 teams participated in Advitya, a competition. They were tested on their endurance. Rann-Bhoomi, a LAN gaming event was also held. The day concluded with a contest for the title of Best Band.

Day 3: Prashnamanch, was hosted by famous quizmaster Gautam Bose. Another event Kotler's Quad saw the competitors presenting themselves in an innovative manner, wherein they had to develop a business plan. "We had to market ourselves in the first round and a product in the second. In the third round, we had to come up with a marketing plan for Sanskruti, a resort," said Aditi Jagtap, a student of MIT, who had participated in the event.

Two workshops Agile Development and Second Generation Entrepreneurship were conducted. To wind up the entire fest and relieve the students from the stress of the event, a rock show was hosted by four bands.
