Ajit and Pratima Vaidya showcase their high-fired stoneware ceramics and pottery at an exhibition in the city

Mumbai-based artists Ajit and Pratima Vaidya will present their latest exhibition of high-fired stoneware ceramics at The Renaissance Art Gallery in Pashan. The artist duo, who have been married for 30 years, will showcase a range of exclusively hand crafted ceramic murals, sculptures, studio pottery and paintings that have been created to blend with the urban contemporary interiors of today's homes and offices.



Around 14 murals, 15 sculptures and 35 potteries will be on display at the exhibition titled 'Medley in Ceramics'.u00a0

u00a0"The ceramic works featured in our exhibition have been inspired by nature and life in all its forms," says Pratima.

The couple has been working together since their marriage "We share ideas, point out things that we don't like but its always been fun to work together," says Pratima.

The duo has been working in the field of Studio Pottery. "Studio Pottery is a concept where the products are hand-made and produced in small quantity," says Pratima.u00a0

The Vaidyas have held numerous exhibitions in Mumbai, Pune and many other cities.
