26-year-old arrested on Tuesday evening has a hotel management diploma from London, and runs a factory in Rohtak
With the arrest of Milind Godi, west district police has worked out a sensational daylight kidnapping of a school-going child Ram Arora, aged 5 years. The accused belongs to a very high profile business family from Rohtak and owns an auto component manufacturing unit. According to the police investigation Milind needed money to pay off his debts and make good the losses that occurred in his business.

The accused during interrogation said that he took to gambling and other illegal activities when he came in contact with a person in Delhi who runs a cricket Satta racket.
On July 5 he took his Maruti Ritz car with fake number plates and came to West Punjabi Bagh near Hans Raj Model School and started waiting for anyone he could lay his hands on. After kidnapping Ram he posed as an underworld don Arif Bhai and demanded Rs 15 lakh as extortion money from the kid's parents. On negotiation the amount was settled at Rs 6 lakh. Investigations revealed that the kidnapper was moving in a vehicle as his location was frequently changing.
The kidnapper asked the complainant to come alone to GT Karnal Bypass with the ransom amount at first. But on sensing a trap he changed his location to Alipur border. On again getting suspicious he drove towards Delhi and finally, the police party, during the chase, located the kidnapper and the car was intercepted on Rohtak Road, Mundka Village in Delhi.
