Want to shun your bad karma? WHAT's ON checked out Sapphire, which aims to solve your problems, the Feng Shui way

Have you been going through a rough patch and desperately need lady luck to shine down on you? Enter Sapphire, where owners Sunil and Vandana Mehboobani, who have studied Business Feng Shui, Tarot Reading, Flying Stars, 8 Mansions and Water Dragon, will suggest solutions to your queries through consultation.

The Mehboobanis believe that everyone on earth is born with a destiny, which cannot be changed, but can be made to work for you.

Health balls at Sapphire

Ambience: A hush of tranquility descends as soon as you enter the store. Look up and you will spot a variety of wind chimes, made of metal and bamboo, dangling from the ceiling. The glass shelves adorning the left side of the shop store health balls and divination cards.

On the right are Feng Shui knick-knacks, including dragon-head tortoises, harmony symbols, wealth coins, three-legged toads, statues of Kuanyin the wealth god and Mandarin ducks.

Range: You can pick up wind chimes, laughing Buddhas, lucky bamboos and evil eyes. There are crystal hangings, which are used to bring positive energy, that are imported from Austria. They have crystal bracelets embedded with stones like rose quartz, amethyst, clear quartz, tiger's eye, carnelian, jade, citrine and black tourmaline. These are healing stones and can be worn by anybody, irrespective of their zodiac sign. If you do not want a bracelet, you can opt for pendants as well.u00a0

We liked: The fibre Ox statuette (Rs 1,980) in golden colours, pulling a cart-load of gold coins attracted our attention. As per the Chinese, this is the year of the ox and if you keep the statue in your workstation, it will make sure your hard work pays off. Check out the Health Balls (Rs 200) which come in pairs, are magnetic and act as a stressbuster if you rotate them in your palms. They activate the acupressure points and improve blood circulation. A pair of Mandarin Ducks (Rs 320) was eye-catching. These are used to enhance relationships, if kept in the bedroom. This can be an ideal gift for a single person, as it helps attract a partner. The blue-coloured Evil Eyes (Rs 580), which when hung at the entrance, windows or in the car, prevent the onslaught of bad energy.
