The Bidve family, met u00a0Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan yesterday and urged him to help them bring Anuj's mortal remains to India soon. The CM had assured the family that he would take personal interest in the case and request Indian Foreign Minister S M Krishna to look into the matter.u00a0
The Birmingham Council authorities and Greater Manchester Police had earlier informed Bidve family that their son's body could not be sent to India before the completion of his second autopsy.u00a0
Wagh said, "It is discouraging that we still have not been told about the date when the body can be sent."u00a0Anuj was killed in unprovoked firing in the UK on Monday.
