After garnering heavy criticism for its notorious hoarding, Haagen-Dazs, the popular American ice-cream brand got into some full time repair work by first removing all the hoardings that read, 'Entry restricted only to holders of international passports' and then making sure that the desi crowd is duly welcomed.

"We never intended to play with anyone's sentiments. And if anyone claims that he has been barred from entering the place, it's absolutely wrong. Media is free to write about anything and we don't have control over that," he told MiD DAY.
"We had kept a few banners in the mall but have removed them as of now," he added. However, not everybody is not amused. "Had they intended to not hurt our sentiments they wouldn't have removed the standees," said a customer.
