Horror? We're not too sure

It's the first time he's behind the camera and is it obvious or what!

Horror? We're not too sure

Manju, who previously directed television documentaries, seemed to be confused about what he really wanted to tell us.

It almost seems like his previous work Sanchu was continued into this feature length film. Thus despite a strong narrative, the flow was staccato and as a result, the theme seemed unclear.

The story revolves around a young man who accepts his friend's challenge to spend an entire night in an old bungalow. The challenge is on because a family was murdered in the house and there is a belief that the house is haunted. What ensues however is a story that debates the existence of both ghosts and God.

The leads have done justice to their roles and Sooraj (Yashas), as the protagonist is worthy of mention. The music is passable, but the good camera work makes it worth a watch.

Starring: Yashas, Prema, Meghana and Santosh
Director: Manju Swaraj
