Chief Conservator of Forest and Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) and Field director Sunil Limaye said, "People should not panic not spotting a leopard.

How to curb leopard-human conflict

Chief Conservator of Forest and Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) and Field director Sunil Limaye said, “People should not panic not spotting a leopard. They are shy animals and usually run away from human presence.”


On Tuesday, the society’s CCTV camera captured a leopard entering and exiting their colony in the wee hours. The security guard spotted him.

>> Give the leopard enough way to pass if you see it

>>u00a0Keep society well-lit, carry a stick and torch
