How would you like your Maggi: Mughlai or Mexican?

Nothing beats Delhi when it comes to remixing readymade khaana. These must-try Maggi addas, replete with their own versions of the capital's staple snack, will make sure the two-minute treat never tastes the same again. Swati Chandra pokes her fork

Being chicken, and loving it
Where: Mukesh Pahalwan ka restaurant, NH-8, near Convergys
Why: Pahalwan's place is the last word in 'dhaba Maggi'. While they serve the popular pack in many a preparation, the chicken Maggi emerges winner. And no, we're not talking tiny, dried chunks.
The freshly fried and properly cooked chicken is mixed with the 'tadka' andu00a0 cooked with noodles and tastemaker. What you get in the end is a heapful of garma-garam slurpacious strands loaded with spices and chicken fibres, garnished with dhaniya. What's more, there's plenty of space
to sit and park your vehicles.
The place opens at 10 in the morning and serves till late in the night.
Extra Treat: Grab some Coke or alcohol from the 'theka' in front of the dhaba and get intoxicated. No, the crowd's not cheap.
Price: Rs 60

Murga Maggi @ Pahalwan's

Spice, spice baby
Where: Tom Uncle's, opposite Daulat Ram College, North Campus
Why: If you can't do without a dose of desi spice in all things nice, your search for a red hot plate ends here. The ingredients used to make the vegetable Maggi are very basic; it's the zest that's the best. Expect fresh green veggies, the tastemaker, roasted black pepper, tomato sauce, chilly sauce, vinegar and a hint of garam masala on your plate. There's no furniture at the shop, but the cold drink crates make for a makeshift squat. If you're too choosy about the environment, enjoy the noodley nibbles in your car.
Extra Treat: The Tom masala Pepsi and Sprite lemon soda.
Price: Rs 35

Acting cheesy
Where: Fusion Refresh, adjacent tou00a0 Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station.
Why: Fusion's a haven for health-conscious Maggi much-aholics. The atta Maggi here is cooked on low flame. The cheese Maggi, too, is far from rich: it's cooked with only 2 green chillies and some mozzarella. They offer chilli flakes and black pepper for garnish, but weu00a0 recommend the plain platter. The location makes the stuff easily accessible to children, collegians, executives and home-makers, all of whom gave it a thumbs-up.
Extra Treat: The street food stalls closeby.
Price: Rs 33

Maggi paired with pasta
Where: Nescafe, subway near ITO
Why: The masaledar Maggi-pasta combo is what lures tired journos and executives to this humble li'l caf ufffd, if not the peace and quiet that you can expect here.
Extra Treat: The coffee and iced teas.
Price: Rs 20.
