If you are a high-end shopper, who loves decorating your home with exotic and out-of-the-ordinary products, Ecoscapes on Airport Road will fulfill all your needs. Though the cost of some of the products is equivalent to a four-day trip to Thailand or Malaysia, they are certainly worth the cost. Owners Manjusha Maloo and Kiran Goenka make it a point to personally handpick the products from South-East Asia.

Range: Ecoscapes displays artefacts, wall tiles, idols of Buddhas, pots, designer center tables, paintings, lamps, furniture, garden du00c3u00a9cor items, table tops, jewellery boxes, tableware, trays and an array of other items.

Ambience: As you walk in, you can't fail to notice that the store looks crammed with so many items. At the entrance, there are center tables and cabinets displayed. On the right, you will find wooden clay pots and vases kept on racks. On the left, there are different kinds of pottery, jewellery boxes and tableware products.

At the far end, there are waterfalls and outdoor decorative pieces that have been exhibited. The store is done up in bright colours giving it a warm look.u00a0

We liked: Almost all the pieces that dot every nook and corner of the store are appealing. We took an instant liking to the decorative wall hangings, pottery and jewellery boxes.

We especially liked a ceramic-tiled Buddha showpiece in a set of three (for Rs 1,850 each). Even though they looked simple, they still had an elegant look. A laquerware cabinet (Rs 62,000) from Vietnam was not only stylish, but spacious as well.u00a0 The ceramic pottery and bamboo tableware (Rs 1,500-Rs 2,000) were a little hatke. The wooden jewellery boxes (Rs 2,500-Rs 3,000) seem to be good options for gifting. The stone and resin waterfalls and outdoor decorative pieces (Rs 25,000-Rs 35,000) were the best among the lot.u00a0u00a0
