While Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is supposed to defend the country, one of its head constables wants security from Uttarakhand police because she is scared her father would kill her. Interestingly, the father came to know from a thief that her daughter had eloped and got married to a neighbour.

24-year-old Shushmita (name changed), working as a head constable in ITBP (Indo Tibet Border Police) had an affair with her neighbour, Anil (name changed). She ran away with him and they got married without informing their parents.
When Shushmita called her cousin and came to know about the whole matter, she ran away to Delhi from Nainital and wrote a letter to Uttarakhand police, asking for security.
While Shushmita was earlier supposed to rejoin her duties on Monday, now she has sought a leave extension by three days.u00a0
