"I am delighted," he told MiD DAY, as he waited in front of the Chitradurga Arts College. But he isn't celebrating yet.u00a0 He said he owes his victory to the local BJP MLAs who have supported him in his campaign.u00a0
"My top priority is to bring industries, specifically IT, andu00a0drinking water to Chitradurga," said Janardhana, son of au00a0retiredu00a0teacheru00a0who has dedicated his life to education in the district.
Janardhana said he plans to move his family which is now settled in Bangalore to Chitradurga shortly, after the results are announced.
