Jet: The strike continues

Jet: The strike continues

Though chairman Naresh Goyal has threatened to close down operations, agitating Jet Airways pilots say they are not under any pressure.

Labour minister Mallikarjun Kharge says that the civil aviation ministry may invoke ESMA in the Jet case.

As a part of this problem, a Chennai-bound Jet Airways flight from Bangalore via Kochi was delayed by over 40 minutes.

Overall, over 100 flights have been cancelled due to the strike.

Even cricketers have not been spared and thanks to the strike, Air India has decided to pick up Dhoni, Yuvraj, Harbhajan and R P Singh and take them to Sri Lanka.
