Au00a0man identified as Aditya J Pendse (30) committed suicide yesterday afternoon.

Pendse, who lived on his own, jumped from the 11th-floor terrace. He was living at Kumar Priyadarshan, Sus Road.

According to a neighbour, the incident occurred at 3 pm, after which the police from Pashan police chowky rushed to the spot.

"He was living on the ninth floor all by himself. He never interacted with other society members and kept to himself. We have just come to know that a suicide note was found in his pant pocket," said the neighbour.

The neighbour added that after living in US for a couple of year, he had come back from about two years ago and was currently dealing in the share market.

Senior Police Inspector Mahadev Chavan from the Chatushrungi police station said Pendse's body was sent to the Aundh Hospital.

He said a suicide note was found saying Pendse was disturbed because he was unable to get a proper job and was therefore committing suicide.

"He has, in fact, asked to donate the property to some social trust," said Chavan.
