Other than the name (the hip JBS is an acronym for a mouthful of a name, Jai Bhavani Shankar), the location of this all-new Juhu eatery is misleading. Although fitted with gigantic windows, the restaurant offers you a view of a crowded Juhu street bustling with speeding cars and a few pedestrians peeping to check what we were tucking into! No, we are far from kidding. In fact, a couple walked in after taking a look at our well-presented Pav Bhaji. Fortunately for JBS, it tasted as good too.

Though small, the eatery is tidy, the large windows allowing light to stream in, lending the room a cheerful vibe.
They have alfresco seating on a terrace, but that's going to be thrown open to patrons once the rain spell ends.

We ordered their special Pav Bhaji (Rs 99) that came with innovative heart-shaped pavs. Though a bit oily, it tasted chatpata. The Butter Masala Dosa (Rs 54) was way too crisp for our liking, although the rasam accompanying was good enough to sip on like soup. To wash it all down we ordered a Dalam (pomegranate juice); tasty but way too expensive at Rs 108. End your meal with a Vanilla Ice-cream with Jelly (Rs 81).
