She was killed by her husband's employees after they did not get their full salaries. Northwest Delhi police claims to have solved the murder case of 30-year-old Abha Gupta who was found dead at her residence on the occasion of Karva Chauth in Jehangirpuri area.

The police have arrested two persons including a juvenile. Both the accused used to work at the shop of the deceased's husband. Deputy commissioner of police, northwest district, Meenu Chaudhary said that Abha's body was found by her husband Naresh Gupta on October 15.u00a0

"Abha was attacked by two persons identified as Umesh and Rakesh (name changed) who worked at Naresh's fast food shop.

They had come to demand their dues and had an argument with the deceased. They broke the necklace which she was wearing. Abha objected to their attempts and raised an alarm. Her two children, a six-month-old baby and a two-year-old son started crying. In the meantime, the duo took out a sharp-edged weapon and slit her throat," said the police official.
The official said that the accused fled from the crime scene. Naresh Gupta reached home around an hour after the incident. The police lodged a case of murder and started investigations. At first the deceased's husband was under the scanner.
Home calling
"Naresh told the police that around 20 days ago he employed two persons at his shop. Both wanted to go back to their home town in Bihar. Naresh said that they had an argument with him after he refused to pay them in full. They wanted Rs 1600 which was owed to them," said the police.
The duo became suspects in the eyes of the cops after they went missing from the area. Police sent a team to their home town in Bihar but they were not found their. Cops interrogated Umesh's sister who lives in a nearby area, but she gave the police contradictory statements.
"After extensive efforts, both Umesh and Rakesh were nabbed from ISBT area. They were interrogated and they confessed to their hand in the murder," said the official.
