Kundra was remanded in police custody till November 21. During the hearing yesterday the court extended her police custody till November 25. Kundra had been on the run ever since she allegedly set ablaze her former lover Nimish Sinha and his fianc ufffde Juhi Prasad on October 13 at Flat No 202 of Clover Village, New
Market.

Assistant Public Prosecutor B R Patil appealed before the court that additional custody of seven days was necessary as the investigation officer was yet to recover her top, which she had allegedly worn on the day of crime, and her cell phone.

But Kundra's lawyer Vaibhav Jathar objecting to this said that the police refused to accept the tops given by his counsel. He also argued in the court that the police could recover her call details from the mobile service provider and an extension of her custody was not necessary.

Joint JMFC J A Kotnis after hearing both sides remanded the accused to police custody till November 25. Patil informed the court that the investigative officer had recovered the pair of jeans of Kundra and her laptop. The police had earlier stated that recovering Kundra's clothes were essential, as they believed that they (clothes) could have traces of petrol, which the accused poured on Juhi Prasad and Nimish Sinha before allegedly setting them
on fire.
