L K Advani to inaugurate Freedom Park

Freedom Park, where the central jail was located earlier, will be inaugurated on February 28 by L K Advani.

The BJP leader had spent more than six months in this jail during emergency.

According to transport minister R Ashok, Freedom Park will have an open theatre, indoor films theatre, museum and a gallery for art and photo exhibitions.

The minister visited the park on Sunday with Bruhath Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) commissioner S Subramanya to check the arrangements made for the inaugural programme. u00a0
