The identity of the labourers could not be established till late at night, yesterday. The labourer who was seriously injured was shifted to the hospital immediately. "It took almost seven hours for the fire officers to cut the metal body of the boiler and rescue the trapped labourer. We were successful in removing the bodies of the labourers at around 12.15 pm. One of them died while the other is alive," Ranpise said.
The fire brigade jawans, who participated in the entire operation, said that the boiler contained a very hot mixture of chemicals.
