Pevar’s brother found Rama hanging around 6 am and rushed her to Sion hospital where she was declared brought dead. Later, Antop Hill police was informed about the death.

According to cops, her husband’s gruesome killing made her take the extreme step. The police have also recovered a suicide note in which she has said that no one should be held responsible for her death, and has urged her relatives to take care of her daughter.u00a0

Deadly love story
According to cops, Pevar’s slaughter was the third murder in the bloodied love saga. Narrating the turn of events, cops said, “Pevar had gone to attend a relative’s wedding in Tirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu around two years ago. That’s where he met Rama, who was preparing for IAS, and love blossomed between the two.” Despite resistance from Rama’s family, Pevar eloped with her. They came to Mumbai and tied the knot. Interestingly, Pevar was already married to a woman named Rani from his village and they had two kids. Cops say that Pevar’s second marriage angered Rani’s family. Also, when Rama’s brothers found out about Pevar’s previous marriage, they too were infuriated. In a fit of rage, Rama’s brothers killed Pevar’s father. To avenge this death, Pevar killed one of Rama’s five brothers. Though he was arrested on charges of murder, he procured bail and returned to Mumbai. Recently, Pevar’s brother had approached the Antop Hill police and had lodged a complaint of threat to Pevar’s life from the brothers of both his wives. Pevar and Rama have a nine-month-old daughter.u00a0
