Incident took place at high-profile F bar in New Delhi
An MBA student allegedly injured the fiance of a girl with a beer glass after she refused to dance with him at the F bar in The Ashok hotel in Delhi. Cops were informed by the girl, Neha (name changed on request), about the incident. A senior police official said the accused, Rohit Tokas, who injured Parichay Upadhyay, the fiance of Neha, was drunk at the time of his arrest.

A police source said that Rohit Tokas told cops that he is doing MBA from Amity University. He lives in Munirka area of south Delhi along with his family.
"Parichay Upadhyay had come to The Ashok hotel on Friday night along with Neha. It was midnight when Rohit Tokas picked up an argument with them. Rohit was insisting Neha dance with him. But she politely refused. This made Rohit angry; he caught hold of her hand and demanded she dance with him. Parichay intervened. Rohit threatened him with dire consequences. Neha and Parichay then left the bar and went to the parking area," said a senior police official.
The official also said that the accused followed them to where they had parked their car. He again caught hold of Neha and asked her to dance with him. Parichay intervened again and a heated argument ensued.
Meanwhile, the accused hit Parichay on his head with a glass of beer that he was holding. Parichay suffered injuries and blood started coming out of his head. Neha called the PCR after which Parichay was taken to a nearby hospital.
"Rohit was arrested from the crime spot. An FIR was lodged against him at Chankyapuri police station. He was produced before court and was sent to 14 days judicial custody," said the police official. The official said that Parichay is a businessman and he lives in south Delhi.

A youth was arrested for sending threat messages to his girlfriend after she decided to sever ties with him. The accused Vikram was arrested by Chankyapuri Police. A senior police official confirmed the incident and said that an FIR against him of IT act was lodged with the police station on July 29.u00a0"Vikram was in a relationship with the girl, Priya (name changed) who lives in Chankyapuri area. They had been friends for years. Priya now wanted to end their friendship. She asked Vikram to stay away from her. Vikram was not happy with this," said the police official. The official also said that Vikram started threatening Priya after she began avoiding him. Priya warned him that she would approach the police if he went on threatening her. But Vikram did not check himself. "Vikram then sent her a few text messages on her cellphone threatening her of dire consequences and even saying that he would kill her. This time Priya approached the police and got an FIR registered under Information Technology (IT) Act against Vikram. Police arrested the accused after getting a complaint from the victim," said the police official.
