Samir (7), who was missing since March 21, was found murdered on Wednesday in the house of the accused identified as Mukim, they said. He allegedly dumped the boy's body in a septic tank in his house over professional rivalry with the child's father, they said.
Following the recovery of the body, the boy's infuriated family allegedly stoned him to death at Biral village in the district on Wednesday, they said.
Security has been tightened in the village to ease tensions, they said, adding that the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
