The announcement was made through a press release by the spokesman of Bihar-Jharkhand-Orissa-Chhattisgarh Special Committee, Gopal. The banned outfit has also been observing a protest-week from October 7 to 13, the release said.
The CPI (Maoist) had claimed responsibility for the kidnapping and beheading o Jharkhand Special Branch Inspector Francis Induwar whose mortal remains were laid to rest on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, former chief minister Babulal Marandi's Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantric) will observe a statewide bandh on October 10 against alleged inaction over its charter of demands submitted before the Governor a couple of months ago.
On the same day the JMM is scheduled to hold a rally in the state capital Ranchi.
The BJP has already announced a Raj Bhavan gherao on October 11. The party alleged that the administration had ignored its demands that included early dissolution of the state assembly and early elections.
