World renowned magician K Lal, who was suffering from old-age ailments, breathed his last in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
Kanti Lal, famous worldwide as magician 'K Lal' died early Sunday, a family member said. He was 88.

He is survived by his wife Pushpa, a son who is also a magician and known as 'K Lal Junior' and two daughters who are married and settled in Chennai and Kolkata.
Considered a grand-master of illusions, K Lal hailed from the Amreli district of Saurashtra in Gujarat but worked for most of his life in Kolkata.
He returned to his home state in 1990 and was active most of his life, enthralling millions of magic lovers for over six decades.
K Lal's last rites to be held in Ahmedabad today, a family member said.
