As accident during stunt scene shoot for 'Deadly Soma' sequel leaves actor Aditya with lower back injury, Thursday's Underwear-only run through crowded city streets postponed
Actor Aditya, who on Thursday was to shoot for a sequence that requires him to run in his underwear through the city's crowded streets, suffered a lower back injury while performing a stunt for another scene in the sequel to 'Deadly Soma' yesterday. The producers have decided to put off the underwear run shoot.
Rocky landing
Aditya was shooting the stunt scene at Sadalli Bande near Devanahalli. Supposed to jump from 30 feet from a bridge, Aditya lost control and landed on a rock, injuring his lower back.
"We doubt if we can go ahead with the shoot as scheduled," said M Manjunath, one of producers. "Aditya is finding it hard even to make normal movements after the accident. Hence, we can go ahead only on his recovery."

"Adequate arrangements were made for Thursday's shoot, but we can't go ahead now because of his injury," said Manjunath.
The doctors have advised Aditya rest for at least three weeks, which is likely to delay the film, scheduled for release in April.
But Thriller Manju, the stunt director, was hopeful the shoot would be resumed soon.
"We hope to shoot by next week since the injury is a minor one," said Thriller.
No body double
The accident and delay in schedule will not lead to any change in plans as far as shooting the underwear run is concerned.
"There will be no changes. We won't use a double for scenes to be shot. Aditya will continue after he recovers," said Manjunath.
