Head to the spirit of pune Oktoberfest for a three-day cultural extravaganza featuring food, music, beer and flea markets

Head to Smokies for a three-day action-packed fest called Spirit of Pune. There will be food, music, fashion, a flea market, beer, games and loads of fun for all. Doolally, the premium microbrewery, will also launch a special brew during the fest.

The three-day affair will include events like Oktoberfest, Rockvista 2010 and the Prelude to the Graduate India Fashion Week. There will be 100 artists performing and over 10,000 revellers enjoying the festivities. The proceeds will all go to charity.

Gear up for some live music and an international food and beer festival. Music lovers can also expect a treat as bands like Swarathma, Shefali Alvares and Sulmthaler from Germany will play alongside Indus Creed, who will have their reunion concert after a gap of 15 years.

Uday Benegal of Indus Creed was very excited about kickstarting their first gig as the new Indus Creed at the event. The band has regrouped and now has two new membersu00a0- Rushad Mistry (bass) and Jai Row Kavi (drums). "We rebooted and are moving forward after a long gap. This will be our second show after a hiatus of several years," says Uday.

The highlight of Rockvista 2010 will be live music across genres like Indie Fusion Rock, Bavarian and Retro by 12 international and national musical acts. Flea markets, German and international food will be presented at the fest and the prelude to FAD Fashion school will showcase Graduate India Fashion Week 2010.
