As the favourite hunting day of the moral police nears, the Panthers party is ready with its 'commandos' who would be deployed at parks and malls to save cupid-struck couples from the clutches of the moral police.
Apart from that the party has also launched a love helpline. Couples can call for help at 9313784373.
Being the national capital, the self-proclaimed saviours of Indian culture are not as vocal here as they are in Mumbai and now Mangalore, where Sri Ram Sene would make girls tie rakhi. However, Shiv Sena had vandalised some card shops and beaten some couples in the past, but with their poster boy Jai Bhagwan Goyal gone lovers can heave a sigh of relief.
"We want people to celebrate the Valentine's Day with peace. Those who try to disrupt the celebrations will be beaten up," said Delhi Panthers party leader Sanjay Sachdeva.
