Petrol prices are expected to come down, with the rate of crude declining in the international market, Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee said yesterday
The oil companies had hiked petrol prices by Rs 7.54 a litre on May 24, the steepest hike in many months.u00a0He said the Central government will discuss the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority Bill with the Trinamool Congress and Mamata Banerjee.

“They have written to us wanting further discussion. So, let us discuss,” he said. Trinamool general secretary and Railway Minister Mukul Roy had written to the prime minister and Mukherjee seeking discussions on the bill.
