The Pink Chaddi campaigners have been flooded with so many panties that they've decided to move the collection boxes from the Alternative Law Forum office.
The campaigners who had asked people to send pink chaddis (panties) to Sri Rama Sene chief Pramod Muthalik in protest against his moral policing, say the unprecedented response has been hampering work.u00a0
"Also, this is drawing too much of unwanted media attention," said Nitin, who's part of the campaign.
So far, 16,139 people from all over the city have sent chaddis for Muthalik.u00a0

Sara Jacob (24), MBA student
u00a0"I got to know about this campaign through Facebook and I immediately joined the group... Muthalik is basically a no-body, he doesn't have the same command as Bal Thackeray but whatever these people are doing in the name of culture is unpardonable. I blame the media for unnecessarily publicising them.
"I bought a pink chaddi from La Senza, costing Rs 350. I don't mind spending even a grand as long as Muthalik realises his mistake."
Vinay Tenkayala (22), theatre artiste
"I am disappointed by the way women are being treated in the country. The situation is getting worse day by day.u00a0 Muthalik has to stop giving his gyaan on culture and religion."
"I am sending a XXL pink chaddi, bought from a thrift store on Commercial Street at Rs 100. I didn't want to spend much on him but the chaddi is big enough for all his allies to fit in."

Benson Isaac (33), environ-mentalist
"I have heard that Mr Muthalik's decided to send pink saris "with love" in response. I greatly appreciate this and hope he continues to choose similar, non-violent methods to get his point across.
u00a0"I bought a large, deep pink chaddi which cost around Rs.180. It's cotton and must be really comfortable. Looking at the number of responses we've got, it looks like Muthalik will have enough chaddis for the next 10 years."
