A 25-year-old youth was pinned to pillar and beaten with belts, by two Uttar Pradesh policemen in a Greater Noida police station for driving in a wrong lane.
The constable duo has been suspended as a video showing these policemen beating the youth reached the top officials. The incident took place Wednesday afternoon.

Lokesh Kumar, the victim was detained for allegedly driving his Maruti Swift in the wrong lane on Greater Noida Expressway. But neither the vehicle was impounded nor it was fined.
When he was flagged down by the policemen, the constable duo had a heated argument with him following which he was taken to nearby Dasna police station which falls under the Greater Noida Authority.
The footage shows, two policemen dragging Kumar to a pillar while nearly six other policemen remained mute spectators in the police station. The duo tied his hands to the pillar and one of them lashed him at least 10 times on his legs as he was crying out in pain and begging to let him go, a senior police official said.
The video was apparently, shot by an onlooker. It is not immediately clear whether the person was with Lokesh or someone else.
The Noida police have ordered an enquiry into the incident and the constable duo has been suspended.
