So far, only 90 of the 422 registered clinics have attended the workshop conducted to train them on record-keeping of patients.

The workshop, which started on Friday, saw an average of 30 doctors and receptionists of various clinics attending. The workshop concludes tomorrow.

The ‘F’ form contains all information of a pregnant woman, including her medical history and reasons for undergoing an ultrasound. This information can be used to track results of a pregnancy in case of untoward incidents.

Nodal officer of Reproductive Child Health, Dr Sanjeev Wavre, who is coordinating the workshop said, “Though the numbers are less, there are many doctors who are working with three to four clinics. Even if we train half the number, the motive can be achieved.”

He added that in case of demand from ultrasound clinics, the workshop will be conducted for a few more days.

“We are also taking their views and complaints and will try to implement them in the software for user’s convenience,” Wavre said.

The workshop appears to have been useful to some of the medical fraternity. “The workshop was very helpful as we could directly clear our doubts and even give individual feedback. The software will make the system transparent and there will be less disputes,” said Dr Samir Saxena of Dr Ashish Khatter Ultrasound Clinic at Jangli Maharaj road. u00a0
